Presidio Wine Bunkers FAQ

Where is Presidio Wine Bunkers located?

We’re located at 1430 Compton Road in San Francisco. Our property is located at the historic Stotsenburg and McKinnon batteries built at the turn of the century.

What are your business hours?

We are open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.

How is your facility different from other wine storage facilities?

Our facility uses nature climate control to keep your wine well-preserved. Rather than using artificial methods of temperature and humidity control, our underground bunkers provide the perfect wine storage conditions naturally. Our bunkers naturally keep the temperature at an ideal 55° - 59° F and 70 -79% humidity. Additionally, your bottles will be subject to minimal light, allowing your wine to mature with minimum breakdown and oxidation.

What’s the best way to reserve my wine storage space?

You can reserve your space by contacting us by phone at (415) 687-1264 or by contacting us through our website.

How will you keep my wine collection secure?

We understand that keeping your prized collection safe is important to you. To keep our facility well-protected, our property is fenced and we keep strict business hours. We also have the benefit of an underground construction, which is more secure than a construction above ground with more access points. Additionally, our wine storage units are outfitted with secure technology to keep your collection well-protected.

Is there a place to sample my wine at your facility?

Of course! We have a tasting room that you can use to sample wine from your collection.
